Auger are the leading underground services and subsidence specialist working exclusively for the insurance industry across the UK. With 30 years of expertise in our sector, we specialise in the handling, investigation, validation and repair of drainage, water mains and off-mains claims, and carry out subsidence site investigations and laboratory testing on behalf of insurers and adjusters. 

OUR COMMITMENT
Auger is committed to the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the abolition of modern slavery and human trafficking. 

Auger is vehemently opposed to the use of slavery in all forms, as set out in the Modern Slavery Act 2015; cruel, inhuman, or degrading punishments; and any attempt to control or reduce freedom of thought, conscience, and religion.  

OUR SUPPLY CHAIN
Due to the nature of our business, we assess ourselves to have a low risk of modern slavery in our business and its wider supply chain.  

Auger expects all suppliers and partners to work towards and uphold similar ethical and moral standards. Auger will investigate the ethical record of potential new suppliers before entering into any agreement. Auger completes an annual analysis of its operations and third-party suppliers regarding modern slavery / human rights / labour rights risks.

OUR POLICIES & PEOPLE
At Auger we have several policies and procedures in place to help mitigate the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in our organisation and wider supply chain. Our policies are reviewed annually and available in a central location for all employees. 

Mandatory e-learning training for all employees is undertaken during their induction period and annually thereafter, to ensure they are aware of the risks around modern slavery and human rights, as well as their responsibilities. This training has a mandatory pass rate to ensure full understanding
