OUR SUSTAINABILITY JOURNEY

We are delighted to declare that we have now aligned ourselves with The Paris Agreement. The Paris Agreement is a huge milestone in global commitment to reducing emissions, and enables more rapid progress on preventing climate change that couldn’t have been made without global cooperation.

GREENLY
Since November 2020, we have been tracking our annual emission totals which have enabled us to measure our progress towards achieving Net Zero. We’re currently partnered with, Greenly, a company who offer a carbon accounting engine in which we record Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions data. Greenly’s carbon accounting combines a mixture of activity data, spend data and in-depth calculations to deliver reliable results to identify emission reduction opportunities.

OUR STBI TARGET
Auger's short-term goal (Near-term target) is to reduce our absolute scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2021 base year. Additionally, we are also measuring our scope 3 emissions and taking action to reduce Auger’s emissions throughout our entire value chain. We aim to achieve net zero by 2050.

OUR UN RACE TO NET ZERO TARGET
Recognising that climate change poses a threat to the economy, nature and society at large, Auger commits to take action immediately in order to:

• Significantly reduce our greenhouse gas emissions before 2030
• Achieve Net Zero emissions before 2050
• Disclose our progress on a yearly basis

In doing so, we are proud to be recognised by the United Nations Race to Zero campaign, and join governments, businesses, cities, regions, and universities around the world that share that same mission.
