  • There is no strict dress code for the Christmas event. You can wear what you would typically wear to a Christmas party. We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy themselves!

    🏆 7:00pm - Auger Awards
    🍽️ 7:45pm - 1-course sit-down dinner (and an Auger tradition will be making an appearance once again! 👀)
    🎧 8:30pm onwards - DJ & dancing

  • Our Christmas Party in the evening is optional, but we hope that you will choose to join us for a great evening where we will celebrate all we have achieved together in 2026.

    All costs including hotels, food and drink are covered by the company.

    ⚠️ Please note: If you can no longer attend, or you would now like to attend when you haven’t previously confirmed, please inform Liah Pulford or Lauren Doheny know directly, either yourself or through your manager. If we aren’t made aware of a change directly and you don’t attend on the night, a charge equivalent to a percentage of the per-head event cost will be issued following the event.

  • As part of our Christmas Event festivities each year, we celebrate those who have gone above and beyond by presenting awards that recognise hard work and dedication 👏🏻.

    We want your input on who you believe deserves this recognition - see below for the colleague-voted awards that are up for grabs this year...

    Colleague of the Year 👑

    ‍You have the opportunity to nominate two of your colleagues for this award: one engineer and one office staff member.

    If you only wish to nominate a colleague from one of the categories then you can do so.

    This could be someone who you feel has personally provided you with guidance and support throughout the past year, or just someone who you feel should be spotlighted for the hard work that they do every day.

    Coach 2: From New Brighton Travelodge (CH45 2PB) at 18:00, dropping off at Isla Gladstone Conservatory Liverpool (L4 0TD) for 18:30.

    RETURNING:

    Journey 1: From Isla Gladstone Conservatory Liverpool (L4 0TD) at 00:00, to Liverpool World Museum (L3, 8EN), then to Village Hotel Bromborough (CH62 4UE), finally dropping off at Childer Thornton Premier Inn (CH66 1QW).


    Journey 2: From Isla Gladstone Conservatory Liverpool (L4 0TD) at 00:00, to Liverpool World Museum (L3, 8EN), dropping off at New Brighton Travelodge (CH45 2PB).

    *Please note that everyone is welcome to get on these coaches provided following the end of the Evening Party, as it is intended that you get off at one of the designated stops detailed above, which suits you best.

  • For those of you checking in to your hotel on the Thursday evening, you can do this from 3:00pm.

    Check out on the Saturday morning is:

    - 11:00am if you are staying in The Village Hotel Bromborough

    - 12:00pm if you are staying in The Childer Thornton Premier Inn

    - 12:00pm if you are staying in The New Brighton Travelodge

    Your allocated hotel will be confirmed with you in a direct message on Teams from Liah Pulford - please reach out if you are not sure where you are staying!

    Parking is free at all hotels, but all operate on a first-come, first-served basis so please van share where you can!

  • Attendance

    Please be aware that attendance at this event will be monitored. If you have previously said you are coming but now are unable to make the event for whatever reason, you need to Liah Pulford or Lauren Doheny aware of this as early as possible - if we are not informed of your absence, you will be asked to contribute towards the cost of your arrangements.

    Donation Station‍ ‍

    On arrival at the Isla Gladstone and throughout the evening, you will have the opportunity to visit our donation station and make a contribution (via cash or card), which will enter you into our annual raffle! This will go towards achieving our fundraising goal for our chosen charity of the year, Mates In Mind. We'd really love to donate as much as possible to support the invaluable work that this charity does, so where possible, please come prepared - every little helps!

  • Overnight expenses

    Overnight expenses cannot be claimed for Thursday 3rd or Friday 4th December – Auger is paying for breakfast, lunch, refreshments, evening meal, drinks etc on Friday which will more than cover the value of your expenses for each night.

    Good behaviour code

    It is important that you maintain a high standard of ‘good behaviour’ whilst staying at the hotels, as you are representing the company and we do not wish to receive any complaints regarding misconduct or for our reputation to suffer (both on Thursday and Friday evenings).

    Please note, Auger operates a zero-tolerance policy to drug use whilst at any company-related event, and expects that drinking will be kept within reason. Anyone who does not abide by this will be asked to leave the event.

    Driving home on Saturday

    Try not to over-indulge on Friday evening if you have a long journey ahead of you on Saturday. Please wait until you feel absolutely safe to head home.
