THE  CIRCUMSTANCES

SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT

The customer had a Sewage Treatment Plant that only served their property

The customer had their tank emptied, which then overflowed the following day

TANK OVERFLOW

SPLIT TANK

A split was identified in the STP, allowing water to enter the tank, with wastewater also flowing back in

Our inspection of the outlet revealed holding water, preventing waste from percolating into the ground

FAILED OUTLET

We concluded that the damage was ground movement or hydrostatic pressure

CAUSE OF DAMAGE

Works were recommended & carried out in order to resolve the customer’s issue

SATISFACTION

The customer’s dedicated Claim Technician called to confirm they were happy with the works completed. The customer was also issued with their 3-Year TankShield Warranty for our repairs.

     OUR  SOLUTION

Due to damage to the Sewage Treatment Plant, the customer’s tank was overflowing despite having recently been emptied.

We installed a new 8PE Sewage Treatment Plant with a pumped outlet. This required a short re-route of the upstream drainage.

Following successful percolation testing, we installed a Drainage Field as the outlet for the new Sewage Treatment Plant.

The existing Sewage Treatment Plant was backfilled and decommissioned, and grass surfaces were topsoiled and seeded.

I am very happy with the works, and your engineers on site were excellent.
